Still moving on.........: January 2009

On Friday, January 23, 2009. Not long ago I was commenting to someone that there’s nothing for me to look forward to and every workout just seems to be a norm procedure of keeping fit. The next challenge is almost like half a year down the road. Too far away…. It’s coming to end Jan now and without realizing, that half a year is only 4 months away! Adding on to the anxiety, I now have 3 races, possibly 4 leading up to end May. That is on average once a month! And what have I done to prepare? All this mix...

On Monday, April 19, 2010. It was pouring again.2 hours before the intended long night ahead. Mentally prepared (not sure about physically) and getting a little anxious on how the night is going to turn out - yet I can't wait to see the outcome. The 4 of us started 7.25pm at ECP F2 with xz giving instruction on the next checkpoint to meet up/water/toilet/walk break. Nice pace I would say with a buddy pacing me all the way to Changi point. Thanks Yankee! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

On Monday, July 27, 2009. Another highlight of the week has to be Jee Wong. Musical concert at Balestier church. It wasn’t as captivating as I would expect it to be when I first heard him going thru the rehearsal together with One Heart Ministries. Then on the actual concert, I would have to agree that he is really an awesome, inspiring pianist. A truly gifted pianist…. simply MESMERIZING. On Thursday, July 23, 2009. Soafter Monday's gym session, I have this nice aching feeling on the quads the next day.

On Wednesday, December 30, 2009. WEAK - sums up yesterday's shortest 8km CBD run. The continuos loading of calories during this festive seasons, low mileage, minimum intensity training ended up me chasing the group like a mad dog. Still managed to chase a bit on the first half with just little gap with the front group. but I went into my own world on the 2nd half - slow and steady OTOT I'm the last to be back.LOL! I'll get there. One Fine Day. On Wednesday, December 23, 2009. On Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

On Monday, February 23, 2009. Position by Category: 13. Most likely the current pushing me forward heh? Or it could be shorter than 200m :) Never managed to clock under 6min in pool. Probably one of the thing that I enjoyed most.Could have just wear race belt during run out instead of standing still.Nevermind. enjoying every single bit of it. Waited maybe a min plus at the run out area waiting for buddy. Run wasn't as good. Breathing was hard. But didn't bother too much. I completed the swim! This little...

On Sunday, January 24, 2010. London - 6C' Cold. My 3rd time touching down at this marvelous city since Uni days - which also marks the time where I start to go for an independant life. It never fails to bring back fonds memories. I was arranged to stay in Maidenhead this time instead of Windsor. Then I was given a free upgrade to an executive room! Bigger room, bigger bed of course - but still.nothing compare to Windsor.haha. London shopping spree starting in 2 hours time :). On Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

http://lifejourn.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
On Monday, August 24, 2009. The wet and slippery day caused many riders/runners out there to abort their training plan. And yours truly me, had such a good Talk-Cock-Sing-Song (TCSS), laugh till cry session at brokie's house the day before, overslept and woke up pretty late. I ended up in the gym and had the most moring workout in life. Alone spinning in the class for an hour with no music, no magazine, nothing! On Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Oh well… doesn’t matter…. First, the swim cap will NOT keep my h...

On Monday, November 23, 2009. Honey, Aloe Vera, Strepsils, Pi Pa Gao, Clarinase has been my company since last Thurs but sadly, it didn't help much on my condition. Nose block, sore throat and on the way to loosing my voice. 12 more days to the next race.I think I should just aim for completion and think no more :(. On Monday, November 16, 2009. Completed within cut off time. 21k on such terrain.is just nice and good enough for me :). So how did my 10D9N of eat, sleep, shop and a 21k run goes? Everyone was...
