A Day in My Life. Sunday, December 8, 2013. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. With a late Thanksgiving this year - Christmas holiday preparation must be done rapidly. This is NOT something I do well. I like to put the decorations up bit by bit. Also, I am finding that weekends are crammed with festivities and parties. The birds have been staying around the back porch and fig tree. I think the clover is too enticing. I caught Bob and Henrietta wandering in the far corner behind the garage. A Day in My Life. Sunday, April 25, 2010. April 25, 2010 The Attack. This picture sums up perfectly how I feel today. I am not sick, nor really tired, just under attack. I am under attack from invading foreign bodies - namely pollen. A Day in My Life. Monday, January 17, 2011. On of my favorite spots for photographing the birds is our upstairs bathroom window. The window opens easily and in winter there is no screen to distort the image. Additionally, the window slides open smoothly and more importantly, silently. Usually the birds pay it no attention. Apparently Addie wanted to see the birds too as she then climbed up to look out the window. I love this shot where she is turning her head as if to say, " What? She is such a funny joy!
