Sieversma's Smattering of Stuff. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. If there is a silver lining. In our search for our dogs we've met some of our neighbors and everyone's really nice and seem to be dog people themselves. Several have offered suggestions of places to check and where their dogs often wander to. Monday, September 29, 2008. Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. If you haven't heard the show, you should check it out and see what you think. It aired on SDPB Saturday at noon. You can still go online. I've been ye...

Sieversma's Smattering of Stuff. Sunday, June 29, 2008. TDK Day 6: Photos (2 weeks later). Wednesday, June 25, 2008. TDK Day Cinq: Photos. Friday, June 20, 2008. TDK Day 6: Brookings to Sioux Falls. Thus, the morale of the week is: Just get on the darn bike. Period. Once you're on the bike, it gets better. My mom had taken an extended lunch break. She'd already been waiting for me for a decent amount of time. So we got in, took some pictures and I had to leave right away so that my mom could get ...There...

Sieversma's Smattering of Stuff: July 2008
http://sieversma.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Sieversma's Smattering of Stuff. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. It's not the heat, it's the humidity. I haven't done a lot of biking over the last week. I have been doing a little bit of running. OR swimming on dry land. However way you want to look at it. Last week I couldn't figure out why I ran 3 miles four minutes slower than my already slow time. Oh, could it be because it was like somewhere between 85 and 95% humidity? See you Friday night! Sunday, July 27, 2008. Speaking of, how'd the ride go yesterday?

Monday, June 29, 2009. Tour De Kota Dog Update. Remember that dog, a cross between a basset and a beagle, on the first day of TDK that seemed to show up at every rest stop on the last half of the ride? I hope Bagel’s owners get him some tags. Saturday, June 27, 2009. Tugboat and Buffalo Stampede. This post was inspired by Tez’s recent posting on her blog: Bonus Spotting of the Things You See Commuting. I took Thursday off of work for a mini-family reunion of a couple of my aunts and uncles and cousins in...

Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Review of Goals for 2008. Is talking about resolutions and setting goals for 2009. I’ve been thinking about this as another year is quickly coming to an end. Last year I set some pretty lofty goals for myself:. 1 To approach the big 5-0 as gracefully as possible and at my personal best fitness level. 2 To put 3,000 miles on my road bike. 3 Compete in a local Senior Games Bike Race. 4 Improve my time in the USD Intramural Bike Race. And here is how I did on reaching these goals:.

Sieversma's Smattering of Stuff: Smattering, Indeed
http://sieversma.blogspot.com/2009/05/smattering-indeed.html
Sieversma's Smattering of Stuff. Sunday, May 31, 2009. I've had a nice weekend, I hope that you (if anyone is, in fact, reading this) did too. I took Friday off. I had some extra hours from earlier in the week and wanted to use a few vacation hours. A friend had asked me to help her shoot a wedding that afternoon. She was going to shoot the video and I would do the photographs. She said she'd pay me, so I thought that it'd be a great experience and a good way to spend the afternoon. Wwwsieversmaphotos...

Happy Rider: July 2012
http://blackhillsbike.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Once again, no reports on rides. We did take our new pop-up camper out to a little lake by Hot Springs. Cold Brook Lake which isn't so much of a lake as it is a big puddle. That's not true, it's a really big puddle. Honestly, it's a lake, yet a small one. The case of beer is a necessity but what about the 3 gallons of water. I don't think so. Friday, July 6, 2012. I've seen it done but mainly just with vehicles driving by at 65 miles per hour. I've never seen one up close. Last we...

http://sieversma.blogspot.com/2009/04/tdk.html
Sieversma's Smattering of Stuff. Friday, April 3, 2009. Well, I've been thinking about it for awhile now and I think that I've decided that I won't be doing the TDK this year. AT least not all of it. I'll likely register for the first day. MAYBE the second one too. Glad to have your company on at least a day or two of TDK! April 4, 2009 at 10:17 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Stay tuned.
