Kelly C's Scraps: February 2013
http://kellycscraps.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 February 2013. Here is a new post of a page I recently complete. I ran my first 5km race in the summer of 2011. It was a really great experience to complete the Learn to Run Program that I was taking through the Running Room. So, without further ado. I think the layout really represents how that day went. It was exhausting but completing this layout has shown me how much I have changed physically since then which is very motivating. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Monday, 16 July 2012. MLIA- Part 5: Gull Bay Pow Wow- June 16, 2012. Here is another late post. A month ago, I went to a Pow wow in Gull Bay. It was my first real experience into Native culture up here. The first thing that we did was go over to Jessica's mother's house. Jessica and her children were all dancing in the pow wow and since Armstrong and Gull Bay are about 45 minutes apart, we went over to her mother's house first so that she could get the girl's hair done and her makeup done. Once everyone ...

Kelly C's Scraps: Finally back!
http://kellycscraps.blogspot.com/2013/01/finally-back.html
Saturday, 12 January 2013. Well, since it has been so incredibly long since I last posted, I figured that I have no excuse now since I am sitting at home and I now have the internet at home. To cut to the chase, here is a layout that I did the other night. It is from Christmas 2011 actually but turned out pretty cute. The photo isn't the best as I took it at 10 pm and the lighting in the new house is VERY bad and yellow. However, I like how the layout turned out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Kelly C's Scraps: MLIA- part 4: the trains
http://kellycscraps.blogspot.com/2012/06/mlia-part-4-trains.html
Sunday, 24 June 2012. MLIA- part 4: the trains. Here is part 4 of my life in Armstrong. I decided to write about trains, mainly because I have photos of them right now :). This train was the shortest train I have ever seen: only 4 cars and an engine. We saw this train in behind the Intercity mall in Thunder Bay. This photo was one morning that I watched the train before work. Trains in and around Armstrong come at least hourly and the majority of the employment in town is due to CN. They increase the...

Kelly C's Scraps: January 2012
http://kellycscraps.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 19 January 2012. Who knew, two posts in one day. This layout is from a sketch from PageMaps. Here is my version of the sketch. I actually had to digitally edit in mad's photo as I forgot to get it printed and since I am 3 hours away, one direction, from a developer, I figured everyone would be ok with it. I used some of the ribbon that Mad used throughout the wedding theme. I also used this awesome black/grey/white pack that I got from Zellars for most of the rest of it. View my complete profile.

Kelly C's Scraps: Ostrich!
http://kellycscraps.blogspot.com/2013/01/ostrich.html
Sunday, 13 January 2013. This makes two posts in two days! I was scrapping again last night. Here is the newest layout! This photo was from trips to the zoo with Mad and Dad from two years ago. The scrapbooking paper that I used was all from Bo Bunny's Zoology line that Tory got me for my birthday quite a while back. Then, the close up of the writing! Did you know that an ostrich has the largest eye of any land animal? It measures 2 inched/5 cm in diameter. This then led me to wanting to say "Huh!

See you in the new year with some new layouts! Tuesday, 6 December 2011. Sketchy Thursday's and CR84FN: Flower Girl. Here is the last thing that I worked on over the weekend. I chose to scrapbook the flower girl, Faith from my dad and Mad's wedding. She was so cute and had such a busy day. I chose to use a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. I also ink...

Kelly C's Scraps: May 2012
http://kellycscraps.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 31 May 2012. Aidan and I- Gingham and Animals! Here is my newest layout. I originally created this layout without any inspiration for a challenge but I succeeded in using it for two! 2 Scrapbooking Friends had a animals challenge. Moxie Fab World also had a Gingham challenge. Now, if you were like me, I had to figure out what the heck gingham is. Gingham represents all things "country". Hope you all enjoy! MLIA: Part 3- Our unwanted visitor. Welcome back for Part 3 of My Life in Armstrong.
