Happy in the Middle: September 2006
http://happyinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Happy in the Middle. Right where I want to be. Thursday, September 07, 2006. That's what I told her. When I was pregnant with Ason, Roo was known to walk around with a dolly under her shirt. When I was nursing her brother, she was known to sit on the couch with a baby held up to her chest. When she played with her dolls, she often used phrases like, "I have had enough of that! Or "You can go and play when you finish your food." This is the reason this next story caught me off guard. She said, "Janey.".

Happy in the Middle: June 2006
http://happyinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Happy in the Middle. Right where I want to be. Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Four warning signs that I am aging quickly:. 2 Big J and I also enjoy our mornings together. We find ourselves going to bed right after the kids and waking up early to see the sun rise, get the paper, and drink our coffee. We haven't seen Leno in years. We rarely catch the 10:00 news. 3 This weekend, we headed North to some friend's cabin. While there, I discovered that I enjoy playing Scrabble. I was addicted to the game! I actually ...

Happy in the Middle: April 2006
http://happyinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Happy in the Middle. Right where I want to be. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. I love this picture. Roo loves to hold Ason - even though he is already 23 pounds. So far he doesn't mind. I have a feeling he is going to be bigger than her so she should do this while she can. I was in the school play in seventh grade. I had to walk across the stage carrying a boy on my back and say, "He ain't heavy, he's my peer! Posted by Allee @ 8:10 PM 7 comments. Monday, April 24, 2006. 7) He cleans bathrooms and does laundry.

Mezzo Forte: February 2006

A blog by me- Jackson. Candid thoughts on issues that come up in my life, and my reasons for thinking them. Monday, February 20, 2006. So I was watching the Winter Olympic games the other day, and they showed this big story on Johnny Weir, male figure skater. I could hardly bare to watch it. I mean, I respect that he has his own opinion, his own style, and his own personality, but it boggles the mind to think of this man. Posted by Jackson at 3:01 PM. Saturday, February 18, 2006. Happy in the Middle: October 2006
http://happyinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Happy in the Middle. Right where I want to be. Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Here is attempt number one at getting a Christmas Card picture taken. Obviously we are going to give it another try, but don't be surprised if this is as good as it gets. This picture may adorn your refrigerator for the next year. But I have been thinking. This picture is real! How many of us really have perfect kids who sit nice and smile for the camera? Good for you if you do. We don't. The dog doesn't even cooperate. Well, my ...

Live in the present. Live in the present, remember the past, and fear not the future, for it doesn not exist and never shall. There is only now.".

Happy in the Middle: Lipstick
http://happyinthemiddle.blogspot.com/2007/06/lipstick.html
Happy in the Middle. Right where I want to be. Friday, June 29, 2007. Seriously, it only took 2 minutes. He was upstairs by himself for about 2 minutes. I should have seen this coming. Mason has been interested in my lipstick for a few months. He likes to twist them up and then put the top back on. I have had to replace them 4 times. Posted by Allee @ 6:23 AM. Dramatic results in such a short time. That kid is totally bound for the Blue Man Group. If only lipstick came in blue. Good look for him. Well, m...

Happy in the Middle: November 2006

Happy in the Middle. Right where I want to be. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. It is November and I thought I would give an update on the holiday events so far. We have one other small tree in the basement that is decorated with Scandinavian ornaments that my mom and I made when I was little. Tonight Roo and Ason took all the decorations off the tree. Uff - da! The tree has very cool memories for me. Do you think Roo will have the same memories of 'ornament-making' with me? I am a middle child - neglected?

Happy in the Middle. Right where I want to be. Monday, May 29, 2006. Mc'DREAMY' - Part 2. Saturday was a beautiful day! We stopped at Applebees on the way home. Both kids fell asleep on the car ride to dinner, but we brought them in anyway. Neither one of us wanted to cook dinner and Applebees sounded so good at the time. Both kids woke up (Roo was a little crabby) and we had a nice dinner. By the time we got home - we were exhausted! As I get the water, I hear a THUMP! I go into Ason's room to give him ...
