That We Might Be Adopted: The Fruit of Faithful Laborers

http://thatwemightbeadopted.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-fruit-of-faithful-laborers.html

Tuesday, May 19, 2015. The Fruit of Faithful Laborers. In Mark 16:15 Jesus told us, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” I am inspired by 36 Ethiopian men who are preaching the Good News in places where doing so could cost them dearly. There are large areas of Ethiopia where Isl*m dominates the culture and the people have never been exposed to the Christian faith. These are the areas that are targeted by the brave evangelists I know, most of whom are former M*slim believers.

Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Every woman and girl should have a pretty bracelet to wear! These beautiful bracelets, made of memory wire strung with hand-crafted paper beads, are made by single pregnant women at Living Hope Maternity Home. A beautiful statement is made about the babies' lives saved from abortion by the addition of Precious Feet which dangle from one end. These bracelets are a lovely representation of the passion of our ministry for women and children in Ethiopia and. Follow Us On Pinterest.

Wednesday, February 5, 2014. The ‘Radical’ Church. David Platt’s book Radical. Has, I hope, started us (His church) thinking. When I read the book several years back, I was discontented with the status quo of my church but couldn’t put my finger on why. After my Radical. And I am happy to have met some visionary pastors who take Christ’s command to disciple the world and care for the poor quite literally. Two churches in Washington have adopted YWAM project areas. Lake City parishioners …. Have provided ...

That We Might Be Adopted: Unwanted, Unloved and Uncared For

http://thatwemightbeadopted.blogspot.com/2015/05/unwanted-unloved-and-uncared-for.html

Saturday, May 16, 2015. Unwanted, Unloved and Uncared For. We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty.". That We Might Be Adopted: Noble Indeed

http://thatwemightbeadopted.blogspot.com/2015/05/noble-indeed.html

Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Our ministry director, Joy Casey, has poured her life into creating and overseeing Adoption Ministry of YWAM – first domestically. And then in Ethiopia. Her heart is for women and children. She has followed God’s lead to create a vital and growing ministry. She has God-inspired vision. For children to grow up in families and not in an orphanage. For birthmothers to be loved and supported in their decision to parent or to relinquish their child. God is using her to bless SO MANY!

Sunday, January 16, 2011. Fourth baby and I've finally decided not to introduce sugar just because its their birthday. So Amelia got a muffin made from scratch: freshly ground flour soaked in homemade buttermilk, farm fresh eggs, real maple syrup, and cultured cream cheese colored with beet juice instead of frosting. She loved it! This was probably the sweetest thing that has ever touched her lips. Plus, I didn't fear she would make herself sick after gorging herself. Created by Edward and Gretchen.

The book: That We Might See

You've heard about it! You've read about it! Now get your copy today! And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NKJV). Are we expecting results or are we simply satisfied with the journey? Is help now sufficient and deliverance no longer the goal? Have you fallen for that familiar saying, God is about. What people are saying.
