Monday, October 30, 2006. Aba Goes Back to Work. Today was a big day for all of us. Yevgeni reluctantly went back to work (he's been threatening to quit ever since Yoav was born), and I had my first day as a full-time, stay-at-home mom. To mark the occasion, what did I do? Diaper changes, while malodorous, are actually pretty fun. We have lots of games that we play while doing the dirty duty! We've started giving Yoav a bit of water to drink with his meals. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. We've nearly finished setting up the nursery! Thanks so much to all of you who contributed so generously to our baby's gear. He now has more stuff than we do! One especially cute gift that we received was a "diaper cake" from uncle- and aunt-to-be, Alon and Cheryl. Saturday, December 30, 2006. Yoav and I took the big step of flying to Ontario to visit my family on Dec. 18. He was an absolute angel on the plane.not surprising since we think he's an absolute angel all the time! It was certainly more challenging to travel than it was in my single, jet-setter days. But, we survived, and it was great to see everyone. We spent just over a week in the outskirts of Alexandria at my sister's place. Yoav was quite adept at country livin' by the time we left! Hey - I can sit!
