Wednesday, October 2, 2013. This past weekend Matt had a conference in Chicago. We have known about this for almost a year, and when we decided Ben was going to school this year, we also decided that when Matt had short conference trips, we would pull Ben out and go with him. Despite the fact that Matt is in his conference all day, it makes for a nice family getaway. Monday morning the boys were up by 5:20! I prayed with her. I've kept praying for her. Elijah was a bit more cautious about the cold water.

Thursday, March 29, 2012. Thankful to be out on a walk with two sons. Thankful that Elijah was born during the mildest winter I ever remember in Indiana. Friday, November 18, 2011. Monday, November 7, 2011. We stopped in Omaha first for Matt's conference. It was freezing cold, but Ben and I got out and found these awesome slides a few blocks from our hotel. Matt joined us later and that's him at the top of the slide. We had such a great time with our friends Brian and Katie and their son. Ben and Cale played hard just about every minute we were with them. Yay for great friends!
