http://peoniesfromheaven.blogspot.com/2009/05/memorial-day-weekend.html
Monday, May 25, 2009. With the exception of Memorial Day itself, the weather the remainder of the weekend was great. Spent a lot of time outdoors planting, weeding, playing. Sunday, we decided to pack up our bikes and head to the Arboretum for a bike ride thru the woods. What a great day for a bike ride! She wasn't hurt, just a little scratch.). After that, Emily was ready to eat (what else? We're ready to welcome Summer! Love that last expression on E's face! May 26, 2009 at 8:48 AM. 2 China 4 Addison.

Bring Stevenson Home: March 2009
http://bringstevensonhome.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Our journey to bring our son home from Haiti. Thursday, March 19, 2009. Hurry Up and Wait. I titled today's post the way I did because anyone who has gone through an international adoption knows exactly what I'm talking about. Last week was a frantic frenzy of excitement, anxiety, and scurrying to get papers together, signed, and shipped off in an amazingly short amount of time and an exhorbatant amount of money only to find out that a DNA test was ordered and now we just sit and WAIT. AGAIN. The OD said...

Peonies from Heaven: December 2008
http://peoniesfromheaven.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 14, 2008. This weekend, we attended the Third Annual Christmas party for our local adoption group. I've said it before, and I'll say it again- this is the best group of families around! It was so amazing to see how all of the kids have changed throughout the year, and it was so wonderful to welcome some of the newest members (both big and small) to the group. Good food and fun crafts were abundant and of course, Santa made a guest appearance! Monkey see, monkey do! We are so blessed!

http://peoniesfromheaven.blogspot.com/2009/07/catching-up-again.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Why, oh why, do I always feel like I'm playing "catch up? Just when one busy week ends and you think "Ah, now I can relax." BAM, another busy week hits you full force! There's just no letting up. But I have to say that, for the most part, we're busy with fun and interesting stuff. Birthday parties, picnics, graduation parties, birthday parties, swimming lessons, Chinese class, playgroup and did I mention, birthday parties? I am so excited for your family! Peonies from Heaven: Picnic w Friends
http://peoniesfromheaven.blogspot.com/2009/05/picnic-w-friends.html
Sunday, May 31, 2009. What a great day! We spent the better part of the afternoon at a picnic w friends. Such great friends! The kids all had a great time walking thru the woods, playing on the swings etc and just being kids. The adults all had a great time just talking w adults. Emily is finally getting better at "posing" for me - now I just have to get better at taking the pictures! This was our cue that it was time to leave. But then we got home, and her energy level rose again. Our 1st day with Emily.

Bring Stevenson Home: September 2008
http://bringstevensonhome.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Our journey to bring our son home from Haiti. Monday, September 29, 2008. GREAT News - I'm not a criminal! Hee, hee. Anyone who has been through this process knows that we have to be fingerprinted and background checked more than a serial criminal(! And today I got my results back from the FBI and I finally passed! Well, he came over and I shipped my prints off along with Tom's on August 25. On Sept. 14, the mail lady delivered the envelope and sure enough, Tom's passed and mine were rejected! I know the...

http://ournextbigadventure.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Our Next Big Adventure. Sunday, June 24, 2012. School is over for the summer. I haven't been very good at taking pictures, but here are some of the girl swimming. She had the pool all to herself. I'm sure she would rather have had other kids to play with but she still had fun. Posted by Huddle Blakefield. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Bring Stevenson Home: November 2008
http://bringstevensonhome.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Our journey to bring our son home from Haiti. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Today we celebrated "Forever Family Day". This is the day we celebrate each of our children, their birthfamilies and the journeys we've taken to bring them home to us - their forever family. Each year we "refine" the celebration a bit as the kids are getting older and able to do more and next year will be another special day because we'll be able to celebrate with Stevenson home as well! He better be home by then or I'll go insane!
