The Sledding Hill by Chris Crutcher: Evaluation of the Novel
http://knowledgebowlisthecoolest.blogspot.com/2008/01/evaluation-of-novel.html
The Sledding Hill by Chris Crutcher. Monday, January 7, 2008. Evaluation of the Novel. I still can’t get over the fact that Crutcher talks about himself in the book and that he advertises for another one of his books in. He has a chapter called, “Something About The Author.” He does talk about himself not that flattering, but still it’s annoying to read about an author who inserts himself into his book. Seriously, what kind of an author does that? Ok, this wasn’t the worst book I’ve read, but...As you ca...

Chris Crutcher Novel: Stotan: Blog 3: Nortie
http://stotancc.blogspot.com/2008/01/blog-3.html
Monday, January 7, 2008. Nortie is one of the main characters in the novel. Nortie is also a very good swimmer. He is probably the best one out of the four boys. He is physically fit and not only does he keep himself pushing forward as hard as he can, but he helps the other boys to go their hardest. Nortie is really an amazing character because of all that he goes through and the way he handles his situation. January 11, 2008 at 11:19 AM. January 15, 2008 at 10:41 AM. http://knowledgebowlisthecoolest.blogspot.com/2008/01/blog-1.html
The Sledding Hill by Chris Crutcher. Monday, January 7, 2008. Chris Crutcher decides to insert himself into the book. One of his other books is being banned in a super uptight Christian community. The main character writes to Crutcher and asks him to maybe write something so he can read it during the council. Chris Crutcher even shows up to the town council meeting. Chris Crutcher Novel: Stotan: Blog 2: Racism and Abuse
http://stotancc.blogspot.com/2008/01/blog-2.html
Monday, January 7, 2008. Blog 2: Racism and Abuse. There were two very serious issues presented in the novel. I agree completely. I think that it is absolutely ridiculous that throughout the ENTIRE book, no one reacts to Nortie’s beatings as abnormal at all, and I think that is horrible! They should at least SAY something throughout the book, about how he shouldn’t take that crap! January 15, 2008 at 10:54 AM. January 15, 2008 at 11:14 AM. January 15, 2008 at 11:15 AM. http://knowledgebowlisthecoolest.blogspot.com/2008/01/blog-2.html
The Sledding Hill by Chris Crutcher. Monday, January 7, 2008. In reading the book. I didn’t like the fact that Crutcher included him in the story. It was annoying to read about and I really didn’t care about him. If I did I would just really the about author in the back. I didn’t like that he advertised for another one of his books in.
