Our start in Brazil was not easy: it was really hard to book a hotel in Sao Paulo, first me and then Amélie had a nice stomach bug, the weather was not too warm and it was raining cats and dogs in the afternoons. To round up our trekking experience in Peru we took almost a day of bus ride upon us to get to the trekking capital of the northern part: Huaraz. It is the main city around the Cordillera Blanca. For the two tours we did we took all the possible kinds of transportation: A motor rickshaw (of course the one with transformers deco - batman is out! Monday, November 23, 2009. A Kicsi és a Nagy úton. 13 hét San Jose-től Rio-ig. 2009 november 27., péntek. Most, hogy visszatértünk a hegyekbe megérkezett a valódi esős évszak. Kár mert itt kirándulni, természetet járni és hegyet mászni akartunk. Bizonyára csak terepjárók számára engedélyezték volna. Volt gázló, sziklák, meg egy döglött tehén az út közepén, amit valaki kövekkel és ágakkal takart le, gondolom kondorok ellen. Félúton megálltunk, hogy feltöltsük a hütővizet, mert a hütő el volt repedve. 2009 november 25., szerda.

The Small and the Tall. 13 semaines entre le Costa Rica et le Brésil. Vendredi 27 novembre 2009. Huaraz ou "la Montage ca vous gagne" (ou pas). Nous voila a la derniere destination de notre voyage au Perou avant de rejoindre Lima ou notre avion nous attend pour le Bresil: Huaraz. Et oui, on y coupe pas, nous voila confrontes a la saison humide. És valóban elég frankó volt a busz, meg tényleg kaptunk kaját. De fel kellett ismernünk, hogy egy repülőgép sokkal kevésbé rázkódik mint egy busz.
