There is a madness to my method. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Monday Musings with a Drunken Monkey. It has been said that if you gave a room full of monkeys a bunch of typewriters, they would eventually write the whole works of Shakespeare. I gave a monkey a bottle of tequila and my blackberry this weekend. Let’s see how he did. I wonder how much of a difference Purell would have made in the life of Lady MacBeth? She seems like a natural spokesperson. Hey Madison Avenue, I want my 10% when you steal my idea.

Finally got around to watching the 2nd episode of Survivor last night so we need to quickly get my ignorant thoughts down before I go over and read the most excellent bitchiness that is brought forth weekly by ColetteLala on her blog (Click on the link to the left). Does the long haired blonde on Foa Foa talk? Was the Outlaw Hillbilly’s trip of Captain Dreadlock really enough to get kicked out of a game? It wa...

There is a madness to my method. Friday, August 28, 2009. Twitter, Tweeting and Celebritwits. It certainly doesn’t seem like it so why should we care what they are saying in this heavily one sided “conversation”? Now that brings up another point about Twitter that has bugged me while I have been delayed on a plane, train or automobile - which based on the amount I travel is a lot – and that is how many of those followers that everyone boasts bout having are real? There is a madness to my method. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Chapter 1 of a longtime work in progress. There was an electricity in the air that even a jaded New Yorker like myself could feel as I stood there on the corner of. As I fidgeted on the corner like I had five too many triple espressos, I finally caught a glimpse of Amy coming down the sidewalk on the other side of. Where did that thought come from? Since when do ambulances sound like mockingbirds? Why am I now on my back? Links to this post.

There is a madness to my method. Friday, November 20, 2009. My Annual Holiday Tips for Tourists Coming To NYC. Stay the hell away! You are just going to make my daily commute a living hell! But considering that no one, most of all my wife and kids, ever listens to me anyway, I might as well be a nice guy (for once) and give those of you making the holiday pilgrimage to the Big Apple a few helpful hints to make your stay in NYC the best it can possibly be…. Life one lunch at a time. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Mushroom and Swiss Big King, onion rings (w/zesty sauce), Coke. Anyway, this is perfectly decent. Mushrooms, Swiss, and mayo. Works well with the charbroiled patties. Score one for the double deckers. Pardon me, sir. What exactly is a double decker? You've been reading this blog for how many years and you don't know this? Well, you've never really taken the time to explain it specifically. Right Let's do a brief history on the double decker. My favorite...

Life one lunch at a time. Sunday, July 12, 2015. Soft meat burrito, crispy chicken burrito, cheddar fries, Coke. Usually, I have a crispy beef taco for the beef portion of this meal, but I had a soft meat burrito for the first time in years recently and was all like "HOLY CRAP HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT THESE" so now I'm having them more often, yo. Still, this is a lot of food, and I don't eat nearly as much as I used to in one sitting. We'll start from the beginning. It did everything the 2190 did...

Life one lunch at a time. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. All American Melt, fries (w/cheese sauce), chili, Birthday Cake milkshake. 2014 is over already? Jeepers. Is it me, or did the year just kind of fly by? I guess all years do anymore at my age. Nothing really stood out, though I was apparently annoying enough that three of my relatives unfriended me on Facebook. Apparently, I'm like the Ricky Gervais of my family. Movie of the Year -. Album of the Year -. Not Exactly Album of the Year -. All of you s...

Life one lunch at a time. Thursday, April 24, 2014. Big King, Chicken Big King, Fanta Fruit Punch. They have a Coke Freestyle machine, so your favorite flavored soft drinks are at the ready, as are the standard drinks which everybody says "taste funny" in the Freestyle machines. And they're correct. There's a long and boring explanation for that, but my posts are long and boring enough. To be fair, the FX has new looking tires. And about 205,000 fewer miles. Speaking of getting attached, I'm naming the F...

Life one lunch at a time. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Original flour taco (extra meat), steak enchilada, Mug root beer. This is your place. Speaking of local favorites, a local supermarket brand is being put to pasture next week as the last Dahl's stores are converted to the Kansas City-based "Price Chopper" brand. Yeah, okay. But the charm was gone. Still, that inner-city location was probably Dahl's best performer. The locals will probably continue to refer to the store as "IngerDahl's", tho...I'm not g...
