Part if my talk on Called, Trained, Commissioned . Over the last 2 months I’ve looked at Called. This month is Commissioned. The commissioned phase of ministry is the most glorious and most public. Samuel recognised as a prophet: Samuel 3:19-20. David was eventually crowned king of Judah (2 Sam 2) and then Israel (2 Sam 5).

Today I watched (and videoed) the demolition of the Leicester City Council offices in New Walk, Leicester. The video starts with the one minute warning and runs through until most of the dust has settled – about 6 minutes. Last August I preached for the last time at Lutterworth Community Church. Mary and I left in September to be part of a team who are starting a new church in Leicester. This is part 1 of that preach. Parts 2 and 3 will follow in the next couple of months. I want to take you on a journey today one that spans 30 years. And who will go for us?

Someone drove up the back of her while she was stationary and, in spite of it being a low speed bump, the damage to Flossie made it beyond economical repair. Welcome to The Woodshed. Our 4 star self-catering holiday cottage. Is situated just on the outskirts of the small country town of Much Wenlock, Shropshire. Birthplace of the modern Olympic Games).
