School starts in 4 days and I'm glad. My daycar kids are going, but will miss my own kids a lot! 5 The last time I. Ate junk food was. Monday, and that is a HUGE accomplishment for me! Monday, October 5, 2009. It's scary and great! I have mentioned before that I was ready for a change. Well it finally came into play. Last Monday, a friend told me about an opening that happened over the weekend at her office. So I applied on Tuesday, interviewed on Wednesday, went in for another interview, and "working" interview on Thursday, and on Friday I was called with a job offer. I have worked at home for the past 15, yes 15 years! It is an Oral Surgeons office, local, great hours, pay and people!

I bought him a hand held GPS unit for Christmas. We weren't very good at it when we first started. There are a few tricks to learn, but we're catching on. I also bought him Geocaching for Dummies. That seems to be helping, too. Now that we've been at it for a few weeks, we are finding more and more caches.

I do think I'd like to blog more (and perhaps Facebook less) in the coming year. I'm going to start with Menu Plan Monday. Friday, January 20, 2012. In July, I happened to be 9 months pregnant so I decided against a helecopter ride even though I really wanted to ride! Grandpa Don and Grandma Suzie set up a time for the family to ride in the helecopter. The pilot is related. The kids had a lot of fun. They flew over Lava, the Lava farm and over our house and the farm. They had a great time. I hope he comes back this summer so I can go for a ride! He was having a pushing contest with his dad. Preston couldn't stop laughing.

I was chatting with a friend today who was trying to lose weight, and another who wishes their partner should lose weight! Men and weight loss seems to be a bit of a "taboo" subject. As someone who went to weight watches for a time (and lost weight from it) every thing appears to be so "female" biased. Perhaps us men who wish to lose weight ought to get together to create a "men only" diet club. I've joined a squash league.
