Well, that is what happens when we arrive at school and Daddy whips out his umbrella but the kids don’t have their own new umbrellas that we got for Christmas. We have fits. Instead of running into school quickly to avoid the rain, we shuffle as slowly as possible pouting the entire time about the fact that we didn’t bring our umbrellas. Lesson learned. We know who is in charge. So for the next rainstorm, this ensued. Well, using the umbrella.

It’s been mostly Jamie getting invited and sometimes their parents encourage Lizzie to come too! Enjoying a birthday party with Noah and Owen. Parties these days for the kids at daycare are typically at a place. We’ve been to places with gymnastics equipment, bounce houses and video games (like Chuck E. Cheese). I had a feeling that there might be some mind-changing and I have no patience for that! He decided to go to the lakefront for the dress rehearsal (on the Friday of the weekend) when it isn’t as crowded to enjoy the show! Then he thought Jamie would really enjoy it and they decided to make a day of it! They took the train. Had pancakes at the Girl and the Goat. They took a bus and a train and checked out Millennium Park. A visit to Ohio.

Lizzie was very excited that Mommy was going to come and have breakfast with her! Most moms and dads were able to join their kiddos for breakfast with Two’s 1. Playing game with Miss Debby. It took us a little while to figure out where we wanted to have the shower, but once we picked, we were so happy with our location of choice – Arrowhead Golf Clubhouse had some really nice rooms!
