We had found out we were having triplets not long before my birthday and so all of our families were planning to go out for dinner. We decided to announce it to them there, as it would have been pretty suspicious if I wasn’t drinking! Everyone was so surprised and so excited and happy for us. Scan pic at 6 weeks.

One of the things you are told about a newborn is to keep them away from too many people (especially kids) until 6 wks when they’ve had their first round of shots to avoid illness. Except when you have a toddler at home, who brings home a cold. And despite your best effort at hand-washing and separation, gives it to your newborn. It landed us in the ER on Friday night and earned us an overnight hospital stay for observation. July 31st, 2016.

The story of my beautiful triplets and surviving after their loss. Finding out what we were having. August 14, 2015. The weeks started to go by pretty quickly with midwife appointments, hospital appointments and regular scans. We also started to stock up on nappies whenever they were on special and make plans about what we were going to do. We knew that the babies would come early so we wanted to be as organised as we could be as soon as possible, just in case. She started with baby A and it was a girl!
