What’s in a name? | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2011/12/16/whats-in-a-name
What’s in a name? December 16, 2011. We have named you, our precious little girl, and I want to tell you the story behind your name. The lovely Gilcrease family:. Your middle name holds significant family meaning. It comes from my great-grandma on Mima’s side, Carrie Fay Billings. She went by Fay. She was such a sweet, gentle-spirited woman, and she was also an artist. This photo was taken of her in her garden, which was the inspiration for most of her paintings. And one with a picture of her in her stud...

It all changes in the blink of an eye. July 28, 2011. There are still a lot of wonderful blessings to celebrate right now, and I’ll post some pictures soon of my new baby nephew, my new niece, and our latest ultrasound pictures. Also celebrating that my dear friend Audra is in labor today with her little boy! Always things to be thankful for. One Response to “It all changes in the blink of an eye”. July 30, 2011 at 2:53 pm. Tessah’s Birth-day | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2012/04/09/tessahs-birth-day
April 9, 2012. Our sweet Tessah is now almost 3 months old! I have spent these glorious first days with her just soaking her up and enjoying her, (and still trying to take care of “life”) instead of spending that time writing blog posts about her, CLEARLY. ;) (We also went to visit our families in Oregon and California for about a month, so we stayed busy seeing lots of friends and family! What better day than Easter to share the story of new life? 8221; She put into words how I felt about birth but didn...

The most amazing thing | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2011/08/18/the-most-amazing-thing
The most amazing thing. August 18, 2011. I finally have a moment to sit down and reflect on the most incredible, beautiful experience I’ve ever had so far in my life. Last Friday, August 12th, at 4:14pm, my niece Kennedy Elizabeth Green was born into our world, and I was blessed enough to be there to witness it. All of the pictures are wonderful from Kennedy’s birth-day, but here are a few of my favorites:. 3 Responses to “The most amazing thing”. August 20, 2011 at 12:00 am. August 22, 2011 at 11:26 pm.

What I already miss. {pregnancy-6 months} | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2012/08/18/what-i-already-miss-pregnancy-6-months
What I already miss. {pregnancy-6 months}. August 18, 2012. My mom has a poem in a hallway that is titled “I miss” written by my Nana, (my Dad’s mom,) and it goes on to describe everything about her children from when they were young that drove her crazy but now she misses and thinks back on with fondness… because all of those interruptions, annoying habits, messiness and noise meant she was blessed beyond measure to have children in her life. A good, wise friend once reminded me in the newborn days that.

No moo for you (well, just me). July 1, 2011. Good and bad news…. I’ve discovered MILK makes me throw up! Not the smell of it, or drinking it, but apparently after it gets in my tummy my body totally wants to reject it! 8221; (EXCEPT: I noticed that when I drank milk with a banana and peanut butter, alone or in a sandwich, I didn’t have any trouble with that. Any explanation on that…? The things that keep me going. June 30, 2011. 1) I have an incredibly loving, hard working husband who has totally taken ...

Mommy’s kickers | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2011/09/04/mommys-kickers
September 4, 2011. I’ve really been struggling this last week being away from my hubby. Two weeks ago today I really started feeling Baby Girl’s little kicks, and they have grown soo much stronger every day since! LOL she JUST kicked me as I wrote that! But then again, I’m not enjoying this new emotional rollercoaster my hormones have been taking me on lately! Which can be found here. 8221; but like I also told her, I’ve already said that several times during my pregnancy! I hope someday, Baby Girl, when...

At 38 weeks | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2011/12/24/this-post-was
December 24, 2011. This post was necessary for my sanity. For me to just write out how I feel and how God is working on me as a new mother. Not so much a “sharing” post as a journal post, for me.). 8221; Now her head is starting to lodge itself firmly into a place I never wanted to feel like I have a fist pushing down on constantly. Nope Is the heartburn worse? Nope The random, really painful sciatica? But the fact that God is using MY body to GROW ANOTHER HUMAN BEING is beyond miraculous. And look at me...
