Monday, December 29, 2008. For Family Home Evening we talked about goals. Lexie and Joseph had fun helping make our family goals for the year as well as some for themselves. One of our family goals is to actually read the Book of Mormon all the way through. (We generally make it to 2 Nephi but we're gonna get it all done this year! Lexie wants to learn to do a cartwheel. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Blustery End to 2011. Remember a few months back when we had lots of wind and it blew cracked our fence? Today I was folding laundry and was thinking, "Man, it's really windy today" and then I heard this crack/crash sound at the front of the house. Monday, December 31, 2012. Rick and Doug went skiing/snowboarding today and the rest of us stayed home and played, decorated, and made lots of yummy appetizers for tonight. Heather saw this fun idea to decorate the Christmas tree as a New Year's tree. So the kids had a lot of fun working on that. I think it's a tradition we'll adopt as well.
