An account of my adventures in Alaska during the summer of 2009. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. I leave Alaska tomorrow morning at 8a and head home, going through Chicago and landing at BWI at 10p. I haven't been up to much lately which is why I didn't update last week. I've been working and hanging out with friends but not going to any new places or anything. I did see. Though, and it was ridiculous, especially the lines the boys had. Ugg. Its wild, unrefined beauty. 20 hours of daylight in the summer.

Thursday, September 16, 2010. Liverpool was dominated by our Beatles tour, which was enjoyable. Below Rachel and I are standing at the very location of the stage where the Quarry Men played the day John and Paul met. (The Quarry Men was John's pre-Beatles band.). The Isle of Man is where my Mom's family (the Cannons) came from. Don and I are sitting at the Cannon ancestral farm (Cooilshellagh) above. The island itself is also breathtakingly beautiful, which we enjoyed as we drove and hiked around.
