Based on the design of our little 30" span Waco YMF-5, this larger version has great flight characteristics and easy setup. Our "big" Waco is a 1/8 scale electric powered version of the YMF-5. It features a scale structure with proper rib spacing and fuselage stringers. The power system is designed to slide out the nose for easy battery access. Wing Area: 553 sq. in.

It achieved this design goal on September 13, 1935 when it set a new world speed record of 353.322mph at the hand of Howard Hughes himself. Originally featured in the August 2006 Model Aviation.
