http://www.strawberrywhimsy.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
July 27, 2013. Oh no I haven't written in a while. July was soo busy. I do have a million posts coming up though, but I will not upload them all at once! OK I am exaggerating but I do have handful planned out about my July adventures! My summer course is over now so hopefully I will have time to work on some posts in between packing. I will start first with our little Montreal road trip! My camera survived, and it has been on many other adventures since. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast. We wen...

September 19, 2014. So we are officially moved back into an apartment in Toronto and connected to the internet. This means that we got our old desktop computer back. Well, its our "old very new computer with the plastic still on" desktop PC. I am slowly working on transferring photos and video from Ian's work laptop to this PC (which takes some time because he always needs to take it with him for work). Where is my laptop, you ask? October 23, 2013. What a month its been! I finally have internet set up and a little bit of time so I can start doing this now. Sorry for being disconnected for so long! I almost hate to say it, but Facebook was a very useful tool during this time for quick updates to our family and friends back home. But when I think about it, its been a month filled with adventure already! So to begin, we moved our most important things back to Montreal and managed to sell off most of our small appliances and other thi...

Strawberry Whimsy: November 2014
http://www.strawberrywhimsy.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
November 10, 2014. I wanted to do my posts in order of the places we traveled however I realize that I can move away from that and post things that i want to share at that moment in time instead of forcing a plan. This first post will be about a concentration camp that we visited outside of Berlin, Sachsenhausen. The second will be Juno beach in Normandy. We didn't take them though so I can;t speak about how those were. There are also guided tours available in many languages if you would like that. This ...

March 24, 2014. A Beautiful Bookshop: Libreria Acqua Alta. I am sure you have all seen those posts on buzzfeed (or all those other sites) that show you places you have to see around the world that look unbelievable. Well ladies and gentlemen, this is one of them! I did see it on a website, and then realised that we could actually go visit this place. We love books and libraries so this was a no brainer. We made our way out. Turns out it was only 5 mins away. March 23, 2014. We were so lucky with the weat...

Strawberry Whimsy: January 2014
http://www.strawberrywhimsy.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
January 31, 2014. Right before Christmas, we had the chance to visit a cute little museum nearby. The Charles Dickens museum! We were definitely lured in by the promise of experiencing a Dickensian Christmas. It was indeed very pretty and well worth going to during Christmastime. Absolutely love this type of tiling , and the door colour! What you see when you enter Charles Dicken's house. You start in the dining room (middle floor) then explore the basement and top floors. January 30, 2014. Things are qu...

Strawberry Whimsy: May 2014

May 15, 2014. Trying to be cool: Shoreditch and Brick Lane Market. So sometimes we do things in London. Like I have said before, London is pretty insane and there's always stuff going on and so many places to see. Its so hard to live in such an awesome place when we have to always be at work. It might seem like we do not do anything in London, but we do! I have no idea. Oh yea, there is also a Cat Cafe. Yes, the Maple Leaf pub has poutine, but its not with real cheese curds. Cheese curds are impossib...

Strawberry Whimsy: June 2014
http://www.strawberrywhimsy.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
June 18, 2014. A Rummage through Lou Lou's Vintage Fair. I have been wanting to go to one of these vintage fairs and luckily one was scheduled to appear close to home! My goal by going to this was to gather up some vintage housewares/barware and perhaps a dress before we left to go back home to Canada. Entrance was only two pounds and the location couldn't be beat (really accessible). He ended up buying two hats, this grey one and a black one. I forgot that I had been looking for a strawberry necklace an...
