Expecting the Unexpected

A weekly record of our first pregnancy with twins. and the days that follow. Monday, August 4, 2014. I created a new blog! I feel like I've been trying to catch up with this one forever. And while I still plan to keep up with the weeks (I have notes until almost the twins' 3rd birthday) when I have the time to post them, I realized that right now it would be good for me to have a space more about our current life. Twice as many moments. Monday, July 21, 2014. Baybay and Baybee: Week 119 (11/13-11/19).

http://thebabymakesfour.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

A weekly record of our first pregnancy with twins. and the days that follow. Friday, May 30, 2014. Baybay and Baybee: Week 114 (10/9-10/15). There are so many happy pictures from this week. From looking at them, you wouldn't know that we were actually having a very tough time. Brett just wasn't feeling settled in our new house. So many boxes of things were still in the basement. I was was exhausted. Brett was exhausted. Maya and Ella were screeching a lot. One of our adventures was pumpkin picking! Inste...

A weekly record of our first pregnancy with twins. and the days that follow. Saturday, September 14, 2013. Baybay and Baybee: Week 97 (6/12-6/18). She had little sores all over her throat. My poor sick ones. I went out to pick up some miso soup and this is what I came home to find. Everyone just fell asleep. Close-up of Maya and Ella all snuggled up together. Poor Brett. He was so miserable. Feeling a little bit better, eating cheese and watching a video. It was the most adorable thing. We tried to go ba...

A weekly record of our first pregnancy with twins. and the days that follow. Saturday, November 16, 2013. Baybay and Baybee: Week 99 (6/26-7/2). I know this blog is mostly about Maya and Ella, but I'm starting this week off with a series of photos of my garden. I think this is one of the most beautiful times of year and I have so many lovely pictures of plants that are blossoming right now. I feel so happy when I'm out in the garden surrounded by all my flowers. Echinacea starting to open. Maya consisten...

http://thebabymakesfour.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

A weekly record of our first pregnancy with twins. and the days that follow. Sunday, May 5, 2013. Baybay and Baybee: Week 80 (2/13-2/19). We started out the week with a check-up for Maya and Ella at NAP (Northampton Area Pediatrics), followed by the first HooteNanny of the season! The waiting room at the doctor's office is always the best part of the visit. Trailer # 7 in off-duty hours. This is how our stroller walks end up most of the time. Bike rides are fun, even in the snow! On Saturday, Brett took ...

Play Always: April 2010

http://playalways.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Sunday, April 25, 2010. Spring Training (or lack thereof). We have been so busy. It has felt like we haven't had nearly enough time for all of the things going on in our life in the past few weeks. We did manage to ride the tandem once this past week, to see the Wailing Jenny's at the Calvin Theater in Northampton. We also got groceries after the show and used our new panniers to carry them all home on the bike! We will be starting our cross country ride. Here are a few things to do before we leave:.

Nope But each of us can push harder or lighter on the pedals depending on how we feel. This enables us to exert ourselves more or le...

Twice as many moments: October 2014

http://jennyboas.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 24, 2014. It's been a rough few weeks, with lots of little happy and fun moments thrown in here and there. We all had a cold, followed by another cold, or maybe it was the same one that just changed and lingered. I had it the worst and am only now starting to feel mostly all better. Brett had a birthday! Timmy left for Arizona a few weeks ago and we miss him. We loved having him around and I hope whatever he decides to do next will bring him back to visit us again soon! Can you find Maya?

Twice as many moments: December 2014

http://jennyboas.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 14, 2014. It's been a while since I've done an update! Things are pretty good around here for the most part. The Springfield house has been a lot of work this past month and that has taken up most of our free time. But, we're close to having all the units rented, so with some luck, that should lessen soon. Maya and Ella's snowmen. If you listen carefully to the rain, it sounds like music.". I missed you while I was sleeping." (to me after her nap). M: "That was me.". M: "Why do we have t...

Much, much appreciated sleep. We have come so far and experienced so much in just 72 hours since it all began. It been quite the physical and emotional roller coaster. We are very ...

thebabymakingblog | spoiler alert: it doesn't always happen on the first try

Spoiler alert: it doesn't always happen on the first try. One of a kind. Today I received the results of my second endometrial biopsy. Again, they have come back as pre-receptive. And in addition to that, a sample from my biopsy was sent in for separate testing, and the results came back post-receptive. What does this mean? I am to spend the next few months getting my BMI in check (read: get skinny) and “we’ll see” in February. How did he defy these odds? Hearing your doctor say that you probably need to...

I'm not sure whether it's because I'm an older mum to be or whether it's because of the fiasco with my LFT's but I seem to be having more scans than anyone else I know being treated by the NHS, I'm not complaining.
