Every time a course arrived there would be something at the table you had not seen before to capture the imagination, like the deconstruction of foie gras with foie gras lolly pops, foie gras creme brulée, and a test tube of plum wine! It may have been that we didn't have a great table, or that the sommelier was a little too busy to indulge us fully, not that he did anything wrong, but it would not be my first choice considering London options. A little more backbone or courage might have changed things. The food was delicious though.
