Jewellery and accessories can be purchased online, obtained in person from The Bakehouse Gallery. In Alnwick or from a number of stockists around the country. I’m still not entirely sure how I ended up being a jewellery designer but.I am and I love it! I create pieces for me first and foremost with the premise being that ‘I only create and sell items that I would wear and buy myself.’. I am a stickler for using the finest quality sourced materials and I make my pieces to last. Flat Heart - Mixed.

Carol Nunan - A Printmaker: MY STORY
http://carolsoriginalprints.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
With a passion for intaglio and relief printmaking. In 1998 I enrolled on a day workshop in monotype at The University of Newcastle upon Tyne. At the time this act was simply a way of claiming back some 'me' time with children aged 4 and 18 months. I had no idea such an action would have such a significant effect on my future. Hence my voyage into printmaking began. I loved playing with colour, the freedom to make marks, messy ink and the element of serendipity. I enrolled on every workshop. All images a...

Carol Nunan - A Printmaker: A Milestone Reached
http://carolsoriginalprints.blogspot.com/2012/05/milestone-reached.html
With a passion for intaglio and relief printmaking. Friday, 25 May 2012. I suddenly realised this evening that today marks a rather large milestone. My youngest child - he's 16 - had his last day at school today - ever! Next year he goes on to college to study film and video production. These are some of his images taken with a 35mm Minolta. So how does this fit here on my printmaking. Now here I am; here we are, my son and I, my husband and daughter too; here we all are on the cusp of something new....

Carol Nunan - A Printmaker: Using Gold Leaf
http://carolsoriginalprints.blogspot.com/2010/06/using-gold-leaf.html
With a passion for intaglio and relief printmaking. Thursday, 17 June 2010. I'm asking for information here because I have tried unsuccessfully to use gold leaf in my printmaking but it just sticks to the plate and not the paper. I followed Brenda Hartill's instructions in her book "Collagraphs and Mixed Media Printing". So If any of you use it successfully I'd really appreciate a step by step guide including what paste to use/make/buy and where to purchase if I can buy a suitable glue. Thanks. The Japan...
