The History of The Barn. The oldest recorded deed for the farm dates back to 1875. The original house, with some modifications, still stands at the south entrance to the farm. following a fire which destroyed the original dairy barn, the existing barn was constructed in 1937 by the Imhoffs. The builders' signatures, along with the date, can still be seen on the southwest wall of the barn. Farmhouse still used as a gift store today. West view 1937 construction.
