Swanley Park puts on a good Father Christmas gig, so we went back there this year to see the jolly one. This time we were joined by Alfie, Ruby Mae, and their parents Sally and Jon. Meanwhile, Soli has grown up a lot lately. He's had a LOT of hair cut off (That was not fun! And off we go. On the day this pic was taken, Soli looked outside to see that it was raining. Excitedly but earnestly he reported, "I need to splash! I need get my willies (Wellies = galoshes) on! So on went the rain gear and, true to his word, Sol had a lot of splashing in puddles to do on the way to and from Deptford. He's very thorough about this task, so I'm grateful for waterproof trousers! Say no to 0870.

From September 2nd - 9th, the four of us stayed near the city of Bath (so named after the Roman bath built on the site of the only hot springs in Britain). This week away was my birthday present from David, so I'd been looking forward to it since April! I was not disappointed. We had a lovely time. September comes to an end: David celebrated a birthday and the weather was pleasant- unlike August! As ever, Soli and Felix are full of beans.
