Dark to light, folk to punk. Eclectic London-based folk group with elements of post-punk sounds and complex compositions. Avante-garde. Experimental. Whatever it is, Jeeps' take on Alt-Rock is ingenious. Bringing together two genres rich in culture, Jeeps shows us how the blending of genres can produce a product unique in style and lyric. An eerie, ethereal, folk-infused sound created with dreamily evocative harmonies - first reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel - soon evoked psychedelic punk.

Glen knows where the best music is and we know jack shit - off you go and listen to Weezer and Pet Sounds and Dire Straits with grunge boy there. Sticking Up For Pluto. Glen Strachan is a musician from London who has annoyed a lot of people since forming Indie Punk band TheBed. TheBed disbanded in 2005 to make way for England and The April. Who take pop, punk, psychedelia and folk sounds, then compact them into dreamily haunting harmonies. In 2007 Glen began recording solo albums and later moved to Berlin where he recorded the concept piece 8 Love Rivals. Now playing shows with JEEPS. There's a page for The (in)Complete Works.
