It’s All About Me…. July 24, 2011. This is not a blog about the beach. It’s a blog about Virginia Woolf’s short novel — “The Waves.”. I recently downloaded it to my nook from a story about great Summer Reads from the Huffington Post. The books are a little heavier than the Fanny Flagg books, but I just don’t understand it yet. 10 pages in and I’m confused. What the HELL is this book about? But please – what is this book about? It’s All About Me…. October 7, 2009. The Cornea Chronicles: Recovery. I’ve been better…That said, every part of my body hurts EXCEPT the area where they opperated. My throat feels like someone shoved a very sharp knife in and out at a rapid pace. The remnants of a breathing tube. Everytime I retire to the restroom it feels like my urine is shards of glass. Life is great. Happily married. Loving husband. Loving dog-ter. Blessed beyond all measure. Why though am I feeling like it’s the end of days? Why do I feel like I’m going crazy? Maybe it’s my diet? It’s All About Me…. October 5, 2011. Tales From the Scale…. It’s been a month, and what a crazy busy month it’s been! The quest for the perfect self for the wedding has morphed into a quest to run a real marathon some day. Right now – I’m loving running. The way it makes me feel, the runners high as it were is quite addictive. I’m not sure I’m a marathoner! Who knows…I run my first 5K next week. I wish it were a 10K, but that’s next.
