Our Forever Family: July 2013
http://aftonandstephen.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. StPatrick's Day and Glendalough. I'm a little behind on this blogging thing, but anyway. St. Patrick's Day (don't call it Patty's day, that's offensive) fell on a Sunday this year so we did not attend the parade. We were told it's mostly Americans walking through claiming their Irishness, no big loss. But Saturday we went into town to enjoy all the street carnivals that are set up and eat some street food. Afton, stephen and brooks. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Our Forever Family: November 2012
http://aftonandstephen.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 15, 2012. The night before we saw the cliffs we stayed at the Ritz in Galway. They had a drop in kids club where the kids could play and be entertained while the adults ate a nice dinner, and played cards! This the visitor center, museum, gift shop, and cafe all built into the side of the cliffs. No-one mentioned we'd have to hike all the way up to the top. Alan and Stephen pushing the buggys. Finally catching a glimpse. Stephen and the kiddos at the top of the tower. Links to this post.

Sunday, February 24, 2013. Bray Beach and Hike. Last weekend we headed out to Bray, which is a coastal town about 40 minutes East of our house. It was a very nice beach, apart from the fact that there was no sand. But the kids LOVED throwing endless amounts of rocks into the ocean. We decided to be a bit adventurous and hike this hill. Can you see the Cross at the top? Well you're soon going to get a close up. Lovely family photo- grumpy faces, squinty eyes, and frazzled hair. But we MADE IT! The floor i...

Wednesday, October 19, 2011. There is so much to do, and the weather is perrrrrfect. A new swing set from grams and gramps. P, and Zoey. Really wanted to help put it together. She was actually pretty helpful, I love it when kids reach the stage of understanding commands and actually want to do it! On our way to the fair, we rode the "train". On our way to fried heaven. I forgot to take pictures of all the amazing fried foods we ate so I'll just list them for you:. Fried Hot-Dog (aka corn-dog. We are so g...

Our Forever Family: A day out in Dublin
http://aftonandstephen.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-day-out-in-dublin.html
Tuesday, August 13, 2013. A day out in Dublin. We started the day off with a train ride out to Bray. The plan was to hike the Bray Cliff walk.however this being Ireland, the most unpredictable rainstorms, we hopped back on the train and decided to try out the Dublinia museum. The museum is located in the building on the left side of the archway, connected by a bridgeway to Christ's Church. Dublinia Museum is an interactive museum about the Vikings who settled in Ireland. My literal knight in shining armor.

Thursday, October 18, 2012. Last Saturday we went to the Dublin Zoo, the weather was a bit chilly but the sun was shining so that was a bonus! It was much larger than we were expecting. It is situated within a large park, kind of like Central Park in NY, but much BIGGER called Phoenix Park. Also located within the park is the U.S. embassy and the governors mansion, but I don't think they call him governor? We had a great time with a friend from Brooks' class, it definitely filled our day and wore us out!

Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Happy 3rd Birthday Brooksie! For Brooks' Birthday we had a few friends over for a Thomas Extravaganza Party! We played trains, watched. Thomas and the Day of the Deisels (. While eating popcorn ofcourse) took turns driving around on Thomas, played in the Thomas tent, painted Thomas pictures, played trains some more, ate lunch, and decorated Thomas Cookies! Then on his actual Birth-Day we opened lots of Thomas presents, ate some cake, and played video games with Dad! Our lovel...

Wednesday, October 16, 2013. London Town in May. We had such a fun weekend with my dad in London, while grandma stayed home with the kids! We began our tour at the London Tower, not acutally a tower more of a castle. We took pictures in front of Tower Bridge, quite often mistakenly called London Bridge. Inside London tower is where the crown jewels are kept. Very interesting to see up close, but all I could think about was how many starving children those diamonds and jewels could feed. The only thing en...

Sunday, December 23, 2012. I am sitting here laughing out loud at some of these photos. There are way too many to post, but here are some of my faves! Not sure exactly why, but this one makes me laugh the hardest! Prob because it just looks forced and uncomfortable. This is my true "AWWWW" fave. Yeah I know my chocolate mustache is cool, you're jealous.". I couldn't resist throwing this one up, this is how they really feel about having to take pics. This is the best we got, seriously.
