November 22, 2011. Ian Celebrates his 9th Birthday at LegoLand Discovery Center! This month is a big one for Ian! He is turning 9 this coming Sunday, so he decided instead of having a friend party or combining his birthday with Thanksgiving, he wanted to go to Lego Land again this year! I was good with that decision! It actually saves me money! So we headed up to Schaumburg and spent the day together as a family! It was very fun, and the kids had a great time! August 24, 2011. First Day of School! This morning, we got up and got ready for the first day of school for Ian and Luke! It went pretty smooth, until Luke wanted the hair clip from Mason and then it went downhill from there! Ian was set to go, and not really nervous at all about going to 3rd grade! June 12, 2012. We had a wonderful time last week as we took the kids to Great America up in Gurnee, IL. It has been a while since we went, and Ian hasn't been since he was 3 and Luke was a baby. The boys had a blast! Mason was really good about staying with us, but we spent two days there, and I think it would have been fine to just spend one day. The boys were really tired the 2nd day so we had some grumpiness, but it was fun still! I hope the boys will remember this fun family outing! It all began here.
