http://3pointsandapoem.blogspot.com/2014/06/belief-is-what-you-need.html
Saturday, June 28, 2014. Belief Is What You Need. A man was lost while driving through the country. As he tried to read a map, he accidentally drove off the road into a ditch. Though he wasn’t injured, his car was stuck in the mud. So the man walked to a nearby farm to ask for help. The farmer hitched the mule to the car. With a snap of the reins he shouted, “Pull, Fred! 8221; And the mule pulled the car from the ditch with very little effort. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Belief Is What You Need.

Let Me Illustrate: Helping or Honking?
http://3pointsandapoem.blogspot.com/2014/06/helping-or-honking.html
Saturday, June 28, 2014. You’ve probably heard the story of the lady whose car broke down in the middle of a busy intersection. Of course, that would be a nightmare for any of us. But this lady kept her head and was doing her best to restart the car. However, after several unsuccessful attempts at restarting her car, the driver immediately behind her began to mercilessly honk his horn. His honking just escalated an already stressful situation. Are you a “helper” or a “honker? Belief Is What You Need.

David Bragg Reflections: Breaking Resolutions
http://davidbragg.blogspot.com/2016/12/breaking-resolutions.html
Sunday, December 25, 2016. The thresholds of life often give rise to resolutions. So it is common to make promises to others, God and ourselves at the dawn of a new year. Perhaps you have your own set of “New Year’s Resolutions.” However, the point at hand is not how you feel about making such agreements but how you feel about keeping them. Now that is not only practical and manageable but scriptural. Don’t worry about being a better Christian in the New Year. Just set your goal on growing a li...

David Bragg Reflections: Ready or Not ... 2017
http://davidbragg.blogspot.com/2016/12/ready-or-not-2017.html
Sunday, December 25, 2016. Ready or Not . 2017. Ready or Not . 2017. Can you believe another year is in the books? Time marches relentlessly onward without asking for either our consent or approval. 2016 isn’t even cold yet and 2017 is already relentlessly marching forward. Nothing you and I can do will ever get that time back. With each passing day we creep closer towards time's end. But, as always, with Jesus there is good news. 2017 will bring with it days of defeat and success. While we are powerless...

David Bragg Reflections: The Birth of Jesus
http://davidbragg.blogspot.com/2016/12/the-birth-of-jesus.html
Thursday, December 22, 2016. The Birth of Jesus. Does this indicate that the birth of Jesus is insignificant? Certainly not. It only serves to further emphasize the prevailing importance of His life, ministry and sacrificial death. The fact that Jesus lived is historically beyond dispute. His compassionate ministry is plainly documented by the Holy Spirit. Calvary and the empty tomb extend hope to a world anxious to celebrate Jesus’ birth while denying that He ever lived! David Bragg Reflections: Only You Can Decide
http://davidbragg.blogspot.com/2017/01/only-you-can-decide.html
Monday, January 2, 2017. Only You Can Decide. We live in a high-tech world with devices and trinkets to make our lives easier. Then there are others, like these two inventions, that make for us the difficult choices we are unwilling to make for ourselves. But there is no device or product that will make life's most important choices for us: to love and serve God. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
