Monday, February 17, 2014. Our Valentine's Day was just another day with some extra LOVE thrown in :) Grace was excited to wake up to some little surprises and she was eager to go to Rosa's and celebrate with her friends. Earlier in the week Grace and I made some treats to bring to Rosa's house. If you look, you can see an excess amount of medicine in the background. We have been one sick household this past week and a half! We are definitely looking forward to spring for more reasons than one.

Sunday, January 4, 2015. Little Blessings Christmas Pageant. Grace's preschool puts on a Christmas Pageant every year. I have heard from friends just how great it is and boy were they right. It is so sweet seeing the little ones retell the Christmas Story. Grace's class got to be the angels and Grace was given a very special part of playing the triangle! Monday, January 19, 2015. Happy 2nd Birthday Jake! Our Jakey Boy is now 2! We celebrated his birthday with a truck and tractor themed party. His actual birthday fell on a Saturday, so the celebrating began the moment he woke up. Jake came down to see his new ride.a motorcycle! Sunday, January 4, 2015. Later that weekend, it was time to decorate the tree. I love getting out the ornaments each year and reminiscing about each ones memory and now the kids both have their own ornament collection started, thanks to their grandparents! Jake did his best with helping out this year. His technique was to gently toss the ornament onto the branches, while Grace chose the 'place them all on the bottom' approach. Either way, our tree was beautiful! Bryan, Melissa, Grace, and Jake.

Monday, October 13, 2014. Grace's 4th Birthday Party. Our Gracie Girl is almost 4 and we celebrated her birthday with family this past weekend. Gracie decided the theme for her 4th birthday would be Tinkerbell! She was very excited to wear her Tinkerbell costume for the party. Sunday, January 4, 2015. Halloween week started with some pumpkin carving! Both kids were all for sticking their hands in the pumpkin and getting messy. The chosen face for this year was a happy face.I think. The day before Halloween was Grace's preschool parade and party, which I was able to be a part of. All the little one were so cute in their costumes! Queen Elsa and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, braved the chilly Halloween night to go trick or treating. They had a blast! Monday, August 11, 2014. Does anyone even check our blog anymore? My last post was Easter.really Melissa? There have been many times over the past months that I have walked past our computer and thought.I should really blog, but then there's a child needing me, cleaning to be done, unpacking to take care of, dinner to be made.excuses, excuses.I know! Well, we are in our new home and all settled! So let's go all the way back to May! Grace finished up soccer! We celebrated Mother's Day and Bryan's Birthday.
