Find Me In the River

Find Me In the River. January 14, 2015. Boy, the holidays threw me for a loop and once I got into that habit of non-communication, it was way to easy to settle into the rut! Plus, our time has been taken up with some major planning for the future. That story will have to wait for another time. For now I just wanted say We’re still alive! Here are a few pictures from the month of December to finish out the year. There was so much joy and mine just escaped out of my tear ducts. :). Someone pointed out that...

We’re on the move! {weeks 45 and 46} | Find Me In the River

https://thebrewer5.wordpress.com/2014/11/28/were-on-the-move-weeks-45-and-46

Find Me In the River. We’re on the move! Weeks 45 and 46}. November 28, 2014. I’ve been a little negligent of the poor old blog lately. Life got pretty busy and we have been travelling in all different directions. I was able to fly out to spend some time with my parents and sisters in Idaho and Washington for a few days. It felt like a whirlwind trip but was such a sweet time to be together. And the kids enjoyed playing at our pastor’s house. N and M even learned to ride a 4-wheeler! We’re actually...

Holidays!! {weeks 47 and 48} | Find Me In the River

https://thebrewer5.wordpress.com/2014/12/07/holidays-weeks-47-and-48

Find Me In the River. Weeks 47 and 48}. December 7, 2014. Last week we, like you, were busy with the bustle of the holidays so I decided to give myself a “thankful rest” and lump two weeks into one… again. :). We were so thankful to get to celebrate Thanksgiving with the fam this year. I walked into my mother-in-law’s house on Thanksgiving morning and felt a little overcome with emotion for a moment thinking, “I just can’t believe we’re here.”. But back to this year…. We had a feast! In :) Good times!

Fall!! {week 42} | Find Me In the River

https://thebrewer5.wordpress.com/2014/10/29/fall-week-42

Find Me In the River. October 29, 2014. This week we drove up to the mountains to find some pretty leaves and visit the apple orchard. It happened that we were able to do it on Jeff’s birthday so that was a fun, American way to celebrate. :). The colors were definitely prettier than they are down here in the Piedmont… but still not brilliant. We went a little too early. But we did see some little snippets of the beauty just around the corner! Can you feel it? And met some animals made of hay. Click to em...

And life goes on {week 41} | Find Me In the River

https://thebrewer5.wordpress.com/2014/10/19/and-life-goes-on-week-41

Find Me In the River. And life goes on {week 41}. October 19, 2014. Folks, this week the leaves are still greenish. I think, due to all my years of living with pretend fall (where I decorate the inside of my house while the outside remains tropical…. I do it sometimes at the. However… silver lining. The weather is beautiful! Conveniently there is a drainage ditch in front of our door. And some red mud. The kids have taken to making clay pots. B telling me who made all the pots. The last bit of news for t...

The Spann Family: The time has come

http://jakeandwinnie.blogspot.com/2011/09/time-has-come.html

Tuesday, September 20, 2011. The time has come. The time has come to get back to blogging. The jackets, socks/shoes, and no air conditioning make it crystal clear that summer is officially over. We are getting into our fall routine and enjoying every minute of it. BUT before we jump into fall, I need to recap some summer events. Look for some posts in the next few days and if you are reading in Google Reader or one of those other blog reading services, click here. To see our new blog header.

Alice Mum: When All Is Said and Done, This is Our Hope...by Holly Gerth

http://alicemum.blogspot.com/2015/05/when-all-is-said-and-done-this-is-our.html

Friday, May 1, 2015. When All Is Said and Done, This is Our Hope.by Holly Gerth. Raindrops scatter across my windshield as I drive home from a speaking engagement and the thoughts within my mind feel much the same. Questions haphazardly come:. Should I have said that? How did it really go? 8220;When all is said and done I get to go home to Jesus.”. When all is said and done we get to go home to Jesus. That reality gives us the strength and courage to serve:. He had come from God and was returning to God.
