Living Life with Laughter and God: TV Shows, Movies and Books on Cancer
http://livinglifewithlaughterandgod.blogspot.com/2015/03/tv-shows-movies-and-books-on-cancer.html
By the Grace of God I am What I am. 1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV. Monday, March 9, 2015. TV Shows, Movies and Books on Cancer. I know that cancer is something a lot of people deal. I have dealt with it. However, it bothers me when it is depicted as blasé event in someone's life or that people around the person dealing with the idea of having cancer are uncaring. I loved my care from all those I encountered and I had the support of family, church and friends during the entire time. It is scary enough to go...

The Lynns in Real Life: September 2013

Friday, September 20, 2013. This guy. He is such a nut! I know everyone thinks their child is funny. But to hear someone. Say that your child is funny? That is always fun to hear. I had G's very 1st Parent-Teacher Conference last night. It's Kindergarten, and we are like 4 weeks into the year, so how bad could it be, right? Here were her examples (because goodness knows this is not stuff I want to forget in the coming years! Teacher puts cash and coins on the table, and asks Garrett "what is this? Garret...

Please don’t ever get too cool to let me keep doing these…. How old are you? But since I waited until. Birthday to do this interview, I guess I should ask you how old were you a few days ago? 3 and A HALF. . And how old are you. FOUR (while holding up your left hand with four fingers and shoving it right in my face).

Friday, June 28, 2013. Confessional Friday: {Link-Up} Pet Peeves. Here's my 1st confession. I have been reading these Confessional Fridays. For quite some time, but am just now going to link-up! Not for any reason other than I just love me some pet-peeves because they tell you just how weird each and every one of us can be! I think as parents, we tend to (subconsciously) pass our weirdness, pet peeves, or silly things that make us crazy (and sometimes, if we're lucky, maybe even good things! I’m no...

He got to pick that Spongebob toy out of the treasure chest as his prize! Way to go, little buddy! We are proud of you! Thursday, February 28, 2013. Links to this post. 01/24: Me (in the van on the way home from work and preschool): What did you have for lunch today? Garrett: Uh… Raviolis, beans… No wait. Maybe those were raisins! I’m so crazy! I had just give...

Sunday, March 31, 2013. Since our Saturday was so busy, Garrett fell asleep on the couch last night, and Gina slept with us. Neither one of them heard that wrasckly Easter Bunny (thank goodness they didn’t associate that with. What’s a holiday without our front porch pics? Mom made brisket, potato salad, and cole slaw for lunch. My contribution was bags of chips, store-bought dip, and a box of frosted sugar cookies! Still, it was a GREAT lunch! Next up… The egg hunt! Here are our hunters! See what I mean?

Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Garrett’s Kindergarten Graduation. It was so nice to get up, take the kids to their schools, and be able to come back to the house to get ready! I was glad that Gina had preschool, so I could just enjoy watching Garrett’s program. Daddy had to be in Louisiana this week for some job training. And then they played Pomp and Circumstance. WHAT IS IT ABOUT THAT SONG? Such a sweet guy! I took video of the whole ceremony, and like I said, I was in pretty much the back row, so I don̵...

Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Final Bike Day of Summer Camp 2013. Today was the final "bike day" of summer camp! Garrett got this blue bike when he turned 3 years old, so he has taken it all 3 summers that he has attended summer camp here! Except this summer. no training wheels! He was so excited because he was one of very few preschool aged kids who could actually ride without training wheels. He could even name off who they were. He's gotten many miles out of that bike in that parking lot! Links to this post.
