Shaun McDonald's Blog. Cycle theft advice that could hinder cycle use. Last week I noticed a couple of tweets from Edinburgh South Police suggesting that you should remove the seat or a wheel when you store it in a shed on the grounds that many bikes are cycled away. Ipswich Ruby User Group was set up to discuss the latest and greatest in the Ruby Community (and to get together for beer and burgers and a good chat about all things technical). Since then several other tech groups have sprung up in Ipswich, and we've now semi-merged with FESuffolk. We meet at the Brewery Tap. One Tuesday a month, two weeks after FESuffolk. That makes it 15 days after the last Monday in the month, but it's much easier to just work it out based on the FESuffolk date!

Ritual Machines at HOME SICK. There is a wood-block floor in the basement of the Barbican Centre. In London that we estimate contains over 175,000 tiles, each unique and each beautiful. We speculate the tiles could be fitted together, like a gigantic jigsaw, to reconstruct the trees from which they came. This project is supported by the Newcastle University Institute for Creative Arts Practice. HOME SICK at Science Gallery Dublin. At the Science Gallery Dublin HOME SICK show.
