So I ask Ben over his lunch hour if it's cold outside (anything over 18 is game for going out) he says it's freezing (well, I can't trust his opinion- this is the guy who I asked this very question to a month or so earlier and was told the same thing- when I find out later that it was 60 degrees out). Ben and I wrapped up our sixth year of marriage by driving fourteen hours with three kids who each had hacking coughs, runny noses, and goopy eyes down to Memphis. the weekend started shaky, at best. Grandma and grandpa were AWESOME, to say the least. They barely batted an eye at having to wipe countless nose and put up with lethargic, cranky kids. Isn't it great to be loved no matter what? Sunday, April 02, 2006. This morning I was awakened by two small boys bearing breakfast bowls. Nate and Eli stood beside my bed each with a bowl full of cereal in hand and huge, proud grins on their faces. As my mind is still trying to turn on, Nate says, "Look, mommy, we brought you and daddy breakfast in bed!
