Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Yesterday our church hosted a "Blast into Summer" event. They rented a water slide along with serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice to the children. All the kids were excited. It's didn't take them long to scarf their food down to run outside and start sliding. At first Jaxson would take Lyla down the slide. She enjoyed it! Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Christmas with the Sanders. After lunch we opened gifts. We all received so many wonderful things. I "went rogue" on a couple of gifts this year, but they were all well received. One of the "rogue" gifts was a bicycle for Brian. He didn't ask for this, but he likes to ride the bike around the neighborhood with the kids so now he will be riding in style and comfort. We spent the whole day at the house eating, chatting, and playing basketball. It was a great day.

I have done the triathlon for the past three years, but I decided to go back to the Du this year because I'm a terrible swimmer and frankly I'm scared of catching a brain-eating amoeba in the lake.
