Firstly, because we had to upgrade the transformer so that it would be big enough to run the mill. We had to apply for extra funds for the project, which was no problem. They like the project in South Africa. The community contributed and built a building for the mill and it has been ready for a few weeks. We were so glad to hear that when we got back. The Bullock's In Zimbabwe. Saturday, April 24, 2010. April 24th - Yeah! We started our day by going to play squash at 5:15 am. Reeve and Lolly were there and brought me a b.d. present. That was really nice of them. They gave me 3 squash balls, an Australia T-shirt, 3 prs. of socks, and some nice smelling soap from Bath and Body. That was a nice way to start my day! The Bullock's In Zimbabwe. Saturday, February 27, 2010. This is a picture of Bigboy and his family. We went to their home this morning (about 60 km. out on the way to Bindura). We read some of the Book of Mormon with them and reviewed some things we had taught them on Monday. Nice family. Bigboy, Susan and their 2 children and also his brother's two children who they take care of as the brother and his wife passed away. It was quite the driving experience. Links to this post. The Bullock's In Zimbabwe. Saturday, August 14, 2010. Last night we went to "Lion King" at the theatre. It was really good - wonderful singing and costumes! Today we will do the 'hop on, hop off' bus which will take us to all the main sites. Tomorrow we will go to church, of course. There is one that is within walking distance - a 15 to 20 min. walk. We had some good English fish and chips before the play but they were a little pricey. I guess almost everything is a little pricey here! Links to this post.
