I came up to Eagle Lake. Who brought along his friend (and my new one), Tex. Quick story: while sitting on the ice Tex told us how there was a group of professional divers working in the lake a few years back. All of a sudden they shot up to the surface and refused to ever ever go down into the lake again. They were that spooked AND refused to talk about what they saw. And these guys are. Turns out Canada has it’s very own Lock Ness Monstor kinda guy, an Ogopogo. March 10, 2009. March 10, 2009.

Made in the 80's: April 2009
http://mirandamacd.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Made in the 80's. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Here are some random things I have learned about my new job this week:. You are not allowed to view the calendar by double clicking the clock. I didn't realize how often I did this until I got a mean little message that told me I did not have the "rights" to make changes to the date and time. I don't want to make changes! I just want to SEE the calendar! Yes, the first week is all about learning - everything form my day to day responsibilities to how to open t...
Made in the 80's: Spontaneous Dance
http://mirandamacd.blogspot.com/2009/05/spontaneous-dance.html
Made in the 80's. Friday, May 08, 2009. I’ve always wanted to get caught up in one of those moments they often have in movies where people just spontaneously break into a dance and people just join in seeming to already know the moves like its common knowledge. A lifelong dream of mine really. For example, remember the part near the end of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Where he co-opts that parade, and out of nowhere, people are doing an elaborate song and dance in the street? And there’s this one. It’...

http://mirandamacd.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Made in the 80's. Friday, October 30, 2009. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love Halloween. I plan my costume months in advance and put a lot of effort into it. This year is no exception. I am going to be Prom Queen 1983 in honour of the year of my birth. I have a selection of dresses perfect for a Halloween that happens to fall on a Saturday so that I can wear something different both Friday AND Saturday night. There could even be a mid-evening costume change incorporated. Tuesday, October 27, 2009.

Just take the damn picture already! Don’t Be So…. She Doesn’t Like Goodbye. She Hasn’t Gone Far. Snow Sunday Coffee Dog. The Wee Hours…. Thoughts From Inside My Mouth. I found a foot today. Walking down Parliament Street. On the cracked dirty sidewalk. With the sun low and in the right sky. Peeking out from between low buildings. In various states of dilapidation. And people in them looking. There it was waiting. Just left of the right streetcar track. About twenty feet up from Carlton Street. Then it go...

She doesn’t like goodbye. Scared to death of it she is. Don’t ask why, she’s not talking. To knowing the word. Instead, she wants something. She can still hang on to, or bite in to,. The Canadian Explorer
Welcome to my Internet show, ‘The Canadian Explorer’. in 2007 I decided Canada needed more celebrating; it is the best country in which to live. I taught myself to be a 1-girl-show, and for 80 episodes I travelled around doing just that, and it was awesome. I hope you feel more excited and protective of Canada after visiting here, that was the point. Thanks for stopping by eh, xo Keri. Come visit my new home online: KeriBlog.com. Featured Episode: Exploring Ice Fishing. Highlights from the show include.
