Thursday, September 19, 2013. Amazed at what the body can do and what I am still able to do while there is a living baby inside of me. I am reminded that a pregnant lady in Zumba class should not be shaking it like the others. It just looks weird. She is kicking and loving my bladder. This time around I am carrying the baby very low. Still thinking of names. It rained a few times this month! And we love playing in it as much as we just love receiving it! Especially when there are double rainbows involved.

Life As We Know It: March 2015
http://chixongrant.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Cannonballs into the swimming pool. Building sand castles and rock piles. Desmond LOVED when the maid put out sprinkles to go on his toast! Dixon enjoyed watching a jazz game with his NBA League Pass. Feeding fish with Aliya and the Gardner (I'm drawing a blank with his name right now). I took a impromptu nap on the comfortable chairs on the porch with the waves crashing and sea breeze gently blowing in the afternoon (it was too good to resist). Dixon and I had fun playing around...

Monday, May 27, 2013. Camping with Yogi Bear. I few months ago I came across a living social deal for 2 nights at a Yogi Bear Campground. We were able to work some scheduling magic and shared a site with my parents. We had so much fun and we are very happy we have another voucher we'll be able to use in the fall. The girls set up. Kaitlyn says that she has a sleeping bug, which I think is pretty clever. I bought the giant marshmallows this time and they were fun but hard to eat and very messy! Watering f...

The Swenson Family: Easter 2015
http://snippetsoftheswensons.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-2015.html
Thursday, April 16, 2015. This year we were super lucky to have my parents fly out for Easter, my birthday, and Allie's birthday. The kids were super excited to have Grandma help color Easter eggs the night before. Coop getting ready to drop an egg in, as you can see he is getting all his adult teeth in! Squeezing that egg with so much Allie love! I'm pretty sure every egg we colored this year was cracked in multiple spots. Grandma helping color eggs. Miss B with all of our hard work! So happy you are al...

The Pollock Family: December 2010
http://jedandrebecca.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 27, 2010. What a wonderful year. With the start of a new year, I took a moment to look back at the past twelve month. 2010 was a great year for the Pollock's. In January we found out we were having what looked like a good sized/healthy BOY! My mom couldn't believe that I was breaking tradition and for the next five months repeated over and over "A Boy? You are having a BOY? But there was no mistake, the ultrasound picture PROVED it! HE is all BOY. For the last time. Sawyers blessing day ...

Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Kinsey loves board games. She asks to play a game almost every day. She's pretty good too! Kaitlyn loves board games too. But not as much as she loves to climb tress :). There is a fantastic nature playground in Raleigh. We went with some friends and had such a good time. We can't wait to go back! The girls were invited to a fairy party. They had so much fun getting ready! What our pew looked like one day after sacrament meeting. Playing Uno while I sat on my chair. The Two of Us.

The Swenson Family: Summer Adventures: The Fair
http://snippetsoftheswensons.blogspot.com/2013/09/summer-adventures-fair.html
Saturday, September 7, 2013. Summer Adventures: The Fair. The fair rolled into Farmington the middle of August complete with elephant rides and diving dogs. Once again, it was hot (the story of this summer), and there was a fire on the hill by Lagoon but we thought we would brave the elements and take the kids down. We stopped and stuck our heads through the photo prop:. The highlight of the fair was the animals. We visited goats, rode ponies again (yay! And Coop wanted a pink elephant:.

Sunday, March 9, 2014. February brought more snow (! And lots of work on the house. Thankfully the flu left us alone this month! We had a big snowstorm (for here) with about 6 inches of snow. It literally shut the whole area down for a few days. The snow came FAST and many people ended up completely stuck on the roads and had to abandon their cars and walk home. It was crazy! We built a decent snowman! The snow really was beautiful. We were sad that it melted a few days later. Removing the laminate floors.

The Pollock Family: "Bampa"
http://jedandrebecca.blogspot.com/2011/04/bampa.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. Sawyer hit the 10 month mark last week. We have so much fun with him. Here are some things we love about our Sawyer Bean:. He's huge. He is already wearing 12-18 month clothes. He loves to play, laugh and smile. He can make Indian sounds and gestures "AhAhAh". He can stand up while holding on to objects, such as the bathtub and couch. He sometimes has a shy side and turns his head into my shoulder. He has 4 teeth on top and 3 on bottom. He can throw a football "go long dad!
