The Cast Iron Skillet. May 13, 2014. The prep work for this one is pretty easy, large chop the veggies. And, flour the meat. Cooking starts with flouring the lamb and searing in the pot that you’re going to cook it in. I really enjoy doing this, it reminds me of my Grandma. She used to make this lamb and green bean stew…. The Cast Iron Skillet. May 29, 2014. Yummy yummy in my tummy! These are the dry ingredients and the cold butter right before I cut the butter into the flour. That wooden cutting board is my favorite to use any time I need a surface to knead on. It’s pretty descent sized so I minimize the mess (if that is possible at all). Like I said, I think that cutter is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Nothing makes the kitchen smell better than rising dough, except for maybe baking bread. Honey Lavender Duck Recipe-ish.

May 30, 2014. 2 Cups of unbleached flour. 1 Teaspoon each of baking soda, salt and baking powder. 1 Stick of cold butter cut into 1/4″ cubes. 1 Cup of Mother (sourdough starter, fed the night before). The Cast Iron Skillet. April 30, 2014. 1 yellow onion- small chop. A few cloves of garlic- minced. Enough olive oil to saute. Salt, pepper and red chili flakes to taste. 4oz Pancetta- cubed small. 8-10 Cups of broth (I like chicken, but any flavor you like will do.) Recipe for bone broth will follow. Tomatoes- canned.
