It was December 1st and it had snowed overnight. It was already dark by the time we got our coats and boots on, which made it extra "special", as Cain likes to say. But other than that they were mellow as usual. We decorated it as a family and that too was a success. I can't believe how fast the holiday season crept up on us!

Holland played a great cup, working its way to the final game. I noticed early on that they weren't playing very smooth and fluid like they had before, and I was getting less excited for our victory every minute. This did not look good. The score was 0-0 by the end of the game, so they went into overtime. Total shock at our house!
