Monday, December 8, 2008. This soup is so great, and great for you too! I discovered this recipe out of the book Bob Greene, The Best Life Diet. I did make a few changes.which he may not approve of.but I don't think it will kill ya, and it made it a little tastier. Serves 6 (or more if you add more broth like I did). 2 Tablespoons olive oil (first change.I added more oil! 1 medium Zucchini, cut into 1/2- inch slices, about 2 cups. 1 medium Squash, cut into 1/2- inch slices, about 2 cups.

Our first goal was to fun in a 5K on Thanksgiving. Our main objective was to be able to cross the finish line still running and we did it! Our next goal is a 10K probably in February. Here's my running parnter, Julie Wright and me at the starting line. Me just about at the finish line! Doesn't get much better than this.

The de Gaston Family. Dave, Melanie, Jonathan, Matthew, Rachel, Hannah, Lizzie, Sarah and Joshua. Sunday, October 11, 2009. It's nice that Rachel is already learning to write complete sentences in the beginning of 1st grade, instead of waiting until 3rd like Matthew. She has to write dictated sentences almost daily, remembering the capital letters and punctuation. She's doing really well with it. She is reading better every day, and catches on quickly to all her phonics and language lessons.
