All about the Thompsons. Saturday, July 4, 2009. Time for an update! Wow October was my last post. Anyway, I do however find it rather relaxing to come here, reflect back and share some memories. For that reason, I am going to try to make a more conscious effort to stay on top of it. So, where do I begin? So much has happened since then, some good, some bad, some enlightening, some heartbreaking-here is my attempt to catch you up. Hopefully, by the end of next week I will be all caught up! What a busy fe...

Monday, September 9, 2013. Ava's Big Star Debut! Our little girl performed yesterday along side the others from her "pop star" summer class. It was her big musical debut! She and her group sang and danced to three popular songs and boy did they ever make an impression! Unfortunately we were not allowed to use flash photography so my shots all came our blurry. Ava beamed with confidence, even when they all fumbled over the words and choreographed routine (they needed about 8 more weeks to practice! Love t...

Saturday morning after football pictures we loaded up and headed down to visit Papa Jerry and Grandma Moogie in their new house in Portland! We couldn't want to see them, and check out their new home on the golf course too! What a gorgeous place with much more space for our kiddos and even a community pool! First thing to do: assemble the new Traeger bbq of course! Kids couldn't wait to hit the pool. Luckily the sun was out too! One of ...

He goes with his buddies Aiden, Cooper, and Ava. I'm laughing that Charlie looks like he's 10 in these pictures. Thursday, September 25, 2008. Sadie is chunking up, as you can see, and she is seven weeks old this week. Time is flying! I'm having lots of fun with this camera. Here is miss Avery with her first haircut! The Merritt Family: February 2009
http://sarahmerrittfamily.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 5, 2009. Yesterday was Sadie's 6 month birthday. You've heard it a million times, but it is so crazy how fast time goes with these little ones. I don't know if it's because we're so busy with them all that we don't have time to notice, or maybe it's just me getting older (yikes). What an intense season. but so joyful and amazing! We are enjoying this little girl so much and we love that she is so different from her big sister. And the hair is still getting bigger! PB and J Family.

Thursday, November 27, 2008. Quote of the Day. Thanksgiving Edition. This morning, as the kids are watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade:. Mommy, why not Kermit stay on that stick forever? On the Muppet float, with Kermit the frog sitting on a fake log). Mommy, why can't Kermit get off the log? I guess we'll have to explain what a puppett is. Sunday, November 23, 2008. Friday, July 31, 2009. We've been enjoying the hottest summer in memory! Thankfully we have air conditioning in the house, so we have been able to come inside and cool off. The other day, we had some heat "refugees" in our friends the Thomasons. It was fun spending time with them, and they were able to get away from their hot house for a while! This is baby Shepherd, who is three weeks older than Sadie. Here we are eight years ago. The kids have also been in swim lessons for the past two weeks, and they ...

The Gardiner Five: HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2014!
http://thegardinerfive.blogspot.com/2014/01/happy-new-year-2014.html
Sunday, January 5, 2014. We had the most WONDERFUL NYE with friends. The Gates family came over for a relaxing evening of watching football, hanging out, eating, of course some drinking. and some silly kid time too. Ok and a few fireworks. It was ideal and relaxing and mellow. Safe. These kiddos are all one year apart in school and act like the best of friends. Great connections. We made it to NYE in New York city- watched and counted down as the ball dropped! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
