Thursday, May 28, 2009. Since Duane and I have been together this was the first Memorial Day we weren't able to go to camp. It was kind of dissapointing but it was also special to spend 3 days with just our little family. It was really hot so we spent a lot of time beside the pool, went to the parade, and got in some fishing and of course.yard work! Yes, Lily caught a frog. not quite sure how that happens, but it did! Thursday, May 28, 2009. Since beginning Gymnastics classes in October, Lily has attempted to climb the rope every week. Every week she got a little closer to the bell until FINALLY! If you listen real close you can hear one of the girls in her class say 'that's the first one in our class who can ring the bell! We're really proud of her! Posted by Duane and Andrea Chappell. She found a marker before Daddy and Mommy had gotten up out of bed, and found she's quite good at taking the covers off and experimenting. Friday, January 21, 2011. 2011 came in quietly here in the Chappell home. All of us were sleeping safely, happily and healthily when the new year turned over. Natalie, as always, is keeping us all on our toes. Right now she has fallen in love with crayons and markers and everything in the house is her canvas! Paper, walls, skin -it's all fair game! We have invested in washable markers and crayons to make clean-up a little less frustrating but she just loves to toe the line! A whole year already? Awesome ...
