Next, I want to say thanks for everyone that inspired me to make the blog. I love reading Hannah and Brunson's, Troy and Emma's, Walker's, and Jackson's blogs! So thanks to Christy, Heather, Ashley and Alisha for the inspiration. I will try to update often and I hope you enjoy The Chavis Story blogspot.
The Chavis Story: July - A Fun Month
http://thechavisstory.blogspot.com/2008/07/july-fun-month.html
Monday, July 28, 2008. July - A Fun Month. July was filled with Fun, Fun, Fun! The month started with a bang by a relaxing vacation at the beach with Granny, Grandaddy and Aunt Monica. We had fun playing on the beach and went to play "golf." Of course, Kyle wins every time. We love vacations! A fun filled day at the Zoo with Nana and Nannan followed. Kyle was able to feed the birds and the giraffe. The giraffe ate "salad" (greens) right out of Kyle's hand! The month ended with a birthday party for Nannan!

The Chavis Story: August was Fun
http://thechavisstory.blogspot.com/2008/08/august-was-fun.html
Thursday, August 21, 2008. August was so much fun! We went to the beach with Bryce, Madison, Christina and Jason for a long weekend. The kids had fun playing on the beach, riding the golf carts, and playing "golf." Kyle even got a hole in one - twice! Then we had a blast at the SC State Museum's 20th anniversary. Nannan, Kyle and I went to the Museum to meet Nana. Kyle loves Nana's work because it is so cool! Kyle is also officially in a 3 year old kindergarden class now. It is less "play" time and m...

Thanks for inviting us Brunson! On Sunday, we had lots of fun swimming and playing at the park with Papa, Nana, Blake and Kelly. All the work during the week is worth a weekend like this! The Chavis Story: Weekend Fun
http://thechavisstory.blogspot.com/2008/07/weekend-fun.html
Sunday, July 13, 2008. We had a blast this weekend! Check out the pictures of the the Chavis boys having fun on the trampoline. I think the bigger Chavis boys had more fun than the little ones! Emma liked to pet the pup-pup (Pluto) and Troy and Kyle had a blast in the tub. On Sunday Brad, Kyle and I went swimming at Nana's house. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. Oh Chris is so jealous he missed the fun! Let's meet for a good ole Mexican grill cheese this week!

Friday, July 9, 2010. This pic is old, but it's the best I can do and one of my favorites of us. They're all growing up fast. Duncan will be starting school in the fall we hope and has finally started talking. He plays video games almost as well as kai and is a very stubborn little boy. He also can be the sweetest boy in the world and is still, to my joy and utter happiness, a mama's boy. Friday, January 8, 2010. A boring post with no pics to start the year off. I cannot believe it's been two months sinc...

Sunday, March 7, 2010. Girls are the walkers Grandma Bev gave them for Christmas. They haven't really figured them out in this picture but they like being in them. Our first swim lesson - the water was sooooo cold but the girls seemed to enjoy being in the pool. Yeah - I finally found them swimsuits for their swim lessons. Christmas in Effingham 2009. Christmas in Effingham was so fun. The girls were opening presents with my dad and Cheryl. My Grandma Kinkelaar really enjoyed seeing and holding the girls.
