As you can see, I have changed the name of my blog and I have a new addition who is going to be involved in my blogging. March 31, 2013. 6 tbs butter, room temperature. 3/4 cup 1 tbs white sugar, divided. 1 1/2 cups flour. 2 tsp baking powder. 3 Golden Delicious apples. Powdered sugar, to top. To make the cake, in a large bowl beat together the butter, 3/4 cup sugar, and egg until light and fluffy, about 2-4 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Peel and core the apples and slice them into 1/4 inch thick wedges.
