My friend Asa brought me this amazing cook book called “Jerusalem”. I absolutely love this book, yes I do read cooking books for fun :). I picked Sabih out of this book. It was just what we needed after all this cold, gloomy weather. Good for warming up the body and soul. Pre-heat oven to 350. Take one butternut squash (approximately 2 pounds). Bake whole with skin on until tender to the touch. Put 3 tablespoons of butter into pot. Melt butter to white, foamy stage. Add sliced onions to pot. Cook until tender translucent.

Blend until smooth and thick:. 1Cup soft butter (2 Sticks). 2/3 cup butter flavored shortening or soft coconut oil. 1 ½ cups granulated white sugar. 1 ½ cups brown sugar.
