July 24, 2015. After receiving our coconut palm with thanks, we headed off to meet back up with Reg and Sabine and Jenny and Graham at a free camp south of Mackay called St Lawrence. It’s the pits…. July 3, 2015. The caravan park – as we have also found in these outback areas – is an absolute gem. Camp kitchen with all the trimmings and good hot showers with clean amenities. THIS is the place for you! Personally I love a good rotten egg gas shower daily. I’ll miss it. DIY environmentally friendly wipes. April 9, 2015. They don’t look pretty – but they are great! We use these in our biocycle. I made some just today. It’s better than a chemical concoction on your bits. 1 roll of Best quality paper towel. 2 cups warm water. 2 tBspns GOOD quality cold pressed organic oil (sweet almond is best). 2 tBspns good quality Castille soap. (better quality health food shops should have this – Melrose Brand). Don’t be a dick – use something that degrades easily. December 10, 2015.
