April 7, 2010. I really enjoyed the learning process involved in this assignment. That isn’t to say that I found Final Cut Pro simple and easy to work with… but I did find the end product rewarding. I chose to tell the story of a girl making cupcakes for a school bake-sale. Much to her chagrin, she realizes that she forgot to purchase eggs at the grocery store. Oh no! Laquo; Project #5. February 21, 2010. Allie was not a fan of our early morning photoshoot. This assignment proved to be quite tricky (. I sense a theme to my blog post. Laquo; Project #1: One of my favorite shots. I love the lighting and Allie’s facial expressions in this photograph! The framing of her hood really sets up the image nicely! For your future photographs, I would maybe try capturing the image at a different angle so that the image is more intriguing to the viewer’s eyes. Great job! Have a wonderful day! I also...

March 7, 2010. Much time on this aspect of the project, that I couldn’t bear to leave it out. Laquo; Project #3: Tide. Your ad is great and incorporates so many creative features: I love it, it really looks like a TIDE ad! The colors are great and stay true to the product, and the circles are my favorite part. You did a great job with the magnetic lasso, I know how challenging that can be! And again, I just love it! Have a great week. On March 8, 2010. On March 8, 2010. On March 9, 2010. My life in New Zealand. Quite a thankful Thanksgiving Down Under. I really need to work on the timing of my posts, but regardless of the tardiness, I hope y'all have had a restful Thanksgiving Holiday! Matt and I with our Golden Eggs and mandatory hairnets. Lunch happened to be a sampling of an "American-style Hotdog" which was actually really, really good. Not a Trolley Stop Carolina Dog, but it was pretty darn good. I may be creeping over to that side of town again just to have another. It was nice to ...

March 26, 2010. I also struggled with the fact that by adding links to my images, I was adding pixels (? Which framed the image, making my overall webpage ‘screen’ larger than I had intended. This actually shifted all of my images downward and caused me to alter the sizes of other cells to accomodate. This first screen shot is an image of my “About Me” page. I chose this page because I felt it had the most cohesive/polished (albeit juvenile and simplistic) look. I am most proud of my. This page what it is.

April 18, 2010. Interviewing can be a awkward endeavor if the subject is uneasy and there is not an established rapport between the subject and the interviewer. However, I was fortunate enough to be interviewing one of my closest friends, Chelsea Gund, about her experience studying in Ghana. Luckily, the light was in our favor, and there was still ample light outside for the interview. Caroline worked the camera for the interview, while I acted as the “interviewer,” asking Chelsea questions a...At the en...

February 11, 2010. Project #1: One of my favorite shots. I really struggled with this assignment. There are a myriad of factors to consider, gauges to check (alter, and check again), and everything had to be done quickly! As far as the shooting process is concerned, I am a bit unsure about the level of my work. Prior to this assignment, I believed photography to be a slightly complex art. I now realize that it is an arduous process and is most definitely an extremely complex art. Laquo; QuickSilver Image.
